Description

Ideal for dogs who need a thorough cleanse of their liver after anaesthetic,  medication, exposure to chemicals or other toxins. Aids function of the liver in elderly dogs and breeds predisposed to liver problems. Can be used every 12-18 months for a thorough liver cleanse. Suitable for all breeds.

Can be used alongside Tummy Tastic as an allergy relief protocol to cleanse toxins and rebuild the gut microbiome.

Not recommended for pregnant/nursing dogs and puppies under the age of 8 weeks old. Not to be used if your dog is known to be allergic/reactive to any of the ingredients listed or if your dog is taking blood thinning medication (anticoagulants)/blood modulators or has gallstones. Pre and post operation guidelines – stop feeding one week prior to and after anaesthetic. We suggest that you check with your own vet first if your dog is taking any medications as herbs can sometimes affect their absorption.

Herbal Ingredients are:

Milk Thistle:  An adaptogenic cleansing herb with powerful anti-oxidant properties. Supports cell regeneration and optimal function of the liver. Aids metabolism. Supports a healthy nervous system and brain. Provides calcium, magnesium, potassium, folate and vitamin A.

Dandelion: Supports optimal detoxification of the liver and kidneys. A powerhouse herb with the richest source of β-carotene, from which vitamin A is created. It is especially rich in fibre, potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, B & C vitamins (especially thiamine and riboflavin).

Yarrow: Supports optimal digestion, appetite, and circulation. Aids effective liver function. Rich in vitamins A, C, E, F and K. It also contains manganese, copper, potassium, iodine and iron.

Yellow Dock: Cleansing and detoxifying. Aids digestion. Contains vitamin C, many different carotenoids including beta-carotene, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, iron, sulphur, copper, iodine, manganese, and zinc.

Artichoke: high in antioxidants quercetin, rutin, anthocyanins, cynarin, luteolin, and silymarin so aids bile flow and regeneration of liver tissue. Aids digestion and gallbladder function. High in folate, vitamins C & K, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and iron.

Schizandra: An adaptogenic herb that promotes relaxation and calmness. Supports the adrenals.Supports a healthy immune system, circulatory and digestive system.  Because liver health is tied to stronger immunity, schizandra has been found to be protective against infections, indigestion and various gastrointestinal disorders. Feeding Guidelines;

Shake the bottle well and add daily to raw, wet or dry food.

Feed 1ml to every 2kg of dogs weight with your dogs regular food once daily, or every other day depending on the level of support required. Shake well before every use and store in the fridge after opened to maintain freshness.

Allergy relief protocol – feed Liver Love in daily rotation with Tummy Tastic at the recommended daily feeding amount.
